A very easy fig to grow, Turkey Brown has large dark purple fruit with reddish pink flesh in early summer. Trees need frost protection when young but are quite hardy when mature. Height to 5 metres and is deciduous. Grow in full sun and protect from wind. Respond well to a good manuring annually.
